We loved staying in the very centre of this city, which made it easy to explore the area on foot. We also appreciated the nearby parking and transportation options. The hotel facilities were excellent, especially the spa, and the staff was friendly. The breakfast was delicious and had plenty of options to choose from.

The hotel is situated at an excellent location in the heart of the town and you're only a short walk away from the station. It’s a perfect base to explore the city as well as its surroundings. you can enjoy a variety of local food choices. You can head down to the lake shore to try out the famous pommes-frites, which are absolutely delicious. the room was clean and comfortable, and the staff provided an excellent service. the hotel served a good breakfast with enough options to suit everyone.

The hotel experiences noise disturbances from their rooftop bar, which impacts the guests who want to sleep early at night.

Gjorvik is a nice place to stay for a few days, rather close to Lillehammer,

The hotel staff was unpleasant, the room was small and not really clean. The website advertised a nice view on the lake, but we found that they were building an new annex to the hotel in front of the lake. As a result, we got no view, but enjoyed the melodious noise of building works as from 7 a.m. The hotel seems to be proud of its very modern design. True indeed, but then nothing is really practical: you end up looking desesperately for a place in the room for your suitecase, you bump your head on the very strangely placed bedside lamp every time you get up from your bed, the washbasin has a very nice and original shape, but then you get all the water on your feet if your try to use it. We booked for two night, and left after only one.

Had an amazing Christmas stay in the heart of the city. Loved the lake view from my room and the beautiful surroundings. The staff here went above and beyond in terms of service quality and the food was delicious. Another great advantage is the hotel’s proximity to local attractions and shops, which was very convenient for us.

The noise from the renovations currently taking place in the area was a bit disruptive. Additionally, the heating system was not ideal and the temperature in the room was a bit too high. Nonetheless, this was still a very enjoyable stay overall.

Nice location in a beautiful place in Norway. For some the spa-facilities would be nice, but I didn't use those.

The rooms were not clean (stains on wall). We stayed two nights, but the room was not cleaned from one day to the other. If you bring kids and stays in weekends, demand a room facing away from the mainstreet. The disco and mad driving from locals will keep you awake. When we stayed there, the parking space were closed. It's possible to find cheap parking places near the hotel, but we were informed of this in the reception, not on the webpage, so we ended up staying at the expensive place. If you stay there: Ask for the cheap places before you park. And by the way: Some "cool designer" has decided that the drain in the bathroom is placed in the middle of the floor, with the result that all the water from the shower flows away and on floor.

Got to admit, the breakfast was really good and had a wide selection of items. the location of the hotel was perfect for my business meetings. I really appreciated the Wi-Fi that had great coverage throughout the hotel, as well.

The hotel was a bit pricey for what it offered. the rooms felt old, and the cleanliness wasn't entirely up to my standards.
